Video: Bimota DBX first ride

Bimota has a reputation for taking engines from the likes of Ducati or one of the Japanese big four and building something rather special around it. It's done the same here, but with a twist - taking a 1078cc Ducati V-twin and coming up with a 120mph dirt bike packed with advanced electronics and classy components. Madness. brightcove.createExperiences();

Thrash It

If I owned one of these, I would take it the OHV (off-highway vehicle, not overhead valve) park and ride it normally, which means a few mild crashes here and there.

Typical Bimota

Beautiful & largely useless in equal measure.

Another OTT two-wheeled design/tech-fest from Bimota.

Let's hope they remain in business for a good while longer.

Nice, all the top shelf bits put together by people who know how. All the same I can't see it doing anything fantastic in a race with KTM, Yamaha and the like. Bimotas do look a million times better and probably will still look good even covered in crap.
