Travellers Insurance

No its not a joke...

It just hit me. If a gypsy has no fixed address, who does the DVLA send the tax reminder form to so that they can tax their £25k Shoguns?

How do they register a vehicle and insure it??

Surely they are not exempt from road tax?

possible to tax

a vehicle without a reminder IF you have the log book.....but that would mean having a valid MOT !?!........and those pikeys must be poor in your area if they can only afford Shoguns, they've all got Range Rovers around here!!!

I used to

work in a garage that did MOT's on pikey vehicles. You wouldn't believe what they's strip off their trucks in an attempt to get the weight down to avoid having them plated, instead of MOT'd.

Very polite normally. A lot of places wouldn't do MOT's for them so they would travel long distances to find somewhere that would.

I still get mad when they just move onto a bit of land and set up home. I know I wouldn't get away with it if I tried.
