Bug Splatter

After my long ride on Sat the bike is absolutely splattered with dead bugs of all shapes and size's.

I know from the cars they are hard work getting them cleaned off.
Anyone know of a product that one can use 1. put on the bike prior to the ride. 2. help get rid when it's time to wash it??

WD40

I used to pray a light coating of WD40 over the plastics.  Works as a protector.

To clean the bugs off, use a pair of ladies nylon tights.  They don't scratch, but are abrasive enough.  (Use the one's you keep for special weekends - don't use the wife's )

Halfords have many products

and MUCK OFF do something as well....I let the rain do the hard work and wipe it over after a good soaking.

same as snev

give it a good soaking after your ride out & let the bugs absorb some water before ya wipe em off , as for " prior to the ride " , aint come across owt that works , just elbow grease after ya ride !!!
