Quiet helmet

Use ear plugs.

The trouble with helmets noise is, it's affected by the bike (faired, unfaired etc), person size, whether you carry a pillion and many other things.

Generally, the fewer vents, the quieter it will be.

This was the first helmet I was going to get until I went ridiculously cheap. It has built in blue tooth and noise cancelling, and not too costly, but like the wise man above said, if your head is bobbing around in the wind or tucked behind a windshield will make all the difference.

as some makes fit one type of noodle and others fit another.

I've got a pin head and like AGV, Mr BB has a fat head and prefers Shoei
