But years of riding without have sc***ed my ears. Got all the classic signs of earing damage, tinnitus, thinking people are saying something completely different to what they actually are, and not being able to hear individual conversations where there's background noise. Makes you look a dummy sometimes.
So..Yes you should wear them if possible.

I tend not to bother for shorter rides. The damage is proportional to the amount of time you are exposed to damaging noise levels.

Hearing Test

I agree that helmet fit has a part to play, but I'm certainly not going to not wear them just coz some bloke on here doesn't like them.

Anyway, Rossi copied me. I was wearing them long before he became famous.:tongue:
