Late crash costs Marc Marquez second

Marc Marquez blew a golden chance to end a painful and punishing Italian MotoGP weekend on the podium when he fell out of second place in the closing stages of yesterday’s Mugello clash. The Repsol Honda rider looked like rebounding from three crashes, including a horrific high-speed incident on the approach to the first corner on Friday, with a stunning second...

Devils Advocate

Agree Nostro. Young Marc by virtue of his crashfest weekend had no business going for a podium this weekend. AH,the exuberance and resilience of youth. Dani and the new profile tyre. I guess I'll be the conspiracy theorist this time. Bridgestone profile for Yamaha and Mugello 2013. George just rode superbly with the Bridgestones handed to him. They were supposed to do the business for the other blokes bike. HA HA.

Sadly, GOAT could not exploit them in warm up nor qualifying.

And yes,Marquez took it easy around Dani for good reason. He's got a great mentor and he's on the same team. Obviously respects Dani a lot and Dani deserves it. Once he had safely passed Dani he figured he could get after George, judging by the way he gapped Dani. A bridge too far and the kitty litter although his data confirms same line, same angle, same speed, same revs. Not the same edge grip. Thats all.

What into the strawbales Wosi?

MM is better than that. He got the start he needed from the second row.

How are those waters of yours which were stirring on Saturday? Still got that painful irritable bladder infection I suspect. Take another orange MM pill and you'll be cured!

is ultra fast at learning let alone his sheer raw speed. If he keeps upright he can win this years championship. He SEEMED a bit slow to gobble up Pedrosa this time. Fast crashes beeld confidence sometimes so he may have been affected.

Fantasy Part 2

In my fantasy world Rev, I do believe it. The young bloke figured he could hunt down George. Sure it would have been impossible, but he did not see it that way. Dani took the experienced and smart option and it paid off on the day.

However, ifs and buts and sundry bullshit.  Enjoy replays y'all.
