Cal Crutchlow: ‘I’d have been happy with fourth’

Cal Crutchlow was celebrating an unlikely second successive podium in a row in 2013 after he was the chief benefactor of late drama in Mugello yesterday. The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team rider was doing his best to chase down Repsol Honda duo Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa with an impressive charge in the second half of the 23-lap race. Lying fourth...

I think you just did

I don't think you can put a rider on a bike and there not be some development, oh hang on you can.

The idea of Max racing has its attractions, he has profile, he'll not be slow and he'll have something to say. Maybe Ducati have decided it might also be a good way to erase the memory of the last two years?

Yellow Ducatis or yellow on Ducatis is ok

A bit like blue Lamborghinis, it's ok Benny.

I quite like a 748 in yellow or maybe a 900SL, he doesn't realise how lucky he his young Iannone, maybe they ought to make him race one as punishment for being in with the wrong crowd.

Out of curiosity, does Uccio still manage Iannone? Did he manage him, I'm sure I heard he did. If so how does that work?
