Too Expensive

and apparantly there's a recession on.

Bsb i have to say have got this right though. Kids going free makes it a lot cheaper to go to a Bsb meeting than say WSBK or Motogp, and frankly the racing is as good if not better than the other two.

The baby boom

In the sixties it was very cold....so many people ...snuggled up to keep warm...result...lots of kids...these kids grew up?....and there were not enough cars, so they all got bikes...then someone called MR Sheen , cleaned up in GP racing and David Essex introduced the colour...Silver. Neither were as quick as our mates...fsie but by that time we were all hooked. now though.... Most of us are older, larger and poorer and our kids have been lured into virtual reality...who needs to get out of bed and go somewhere, when you can stay in bed....and play.w

Boring races

Well that's the case for motogp Moto 3 and 2 are good but motogp is .....boring Instead of CRT rule make motogp like moto2. All Honda motors with privateer teams and different chassis Make WSB into unlimited tuning and maybe prototype bits My opinion anyway ..

Too expensive

WSB last week was £50 entry, paddock passes £30, for 2 people that's £160, before fuel, refreshments, souvenirs etc etc

The circuits / organisers, don't seem to think that lowering prices might encourage higher attendance.

Or maybe they make more money from coroprate hospitality and have no interest in increased numbers.

Moto GP last year for two adults and one child was £150 in advance. £75 each adult child free, this year adults £95 each, child now £47.50 and PARKING £25. WSB in Silverstone £40 each adult and child free, no charge for parking. All of the above are advance weekend tickets. Taking the p**s for the Moto GP

Motogp and wsb in this country are taking the piss with the prices just like all sporting events in this country look at what they pay for the racing in other countries. For thr price of 2 tickets in this country you can fly to spain and back and watch the gp to

World superbikes at Brands was worth every penny

The whole weekend was a fantastic spectical ,The Campsite was open thursday till Monday morning with good facilities and great fun with all the campers there OH ! and no nazi security guards stopping you using a bar be que or lighting up your gas to cook your own food .Saturday was a show and a half with the fun fair ,Poboys playing and that tent with them "arty" ladies for the lads !! Then Sunday was a bumping show of great racing ,Yes thanks to the owners of SBK their greed had taken away the "best " motorcycle race weekend in the world with their high price demands which MSV would not be ripped off and over charge the British fans .

British Prices

Just got back from Mugello and believe it or not Silverstone MotoGP is much cheaper than Mugello / San Marino; and 7 Euro's for a small beer!!!

But I do agree - bring the prices down - attendances will go up.

Also, party atmosphere has been killed for Moto GP - too Corporate now.

The law of diminishing return

Prices are too high for starters , I remember going to donnington park in 1978 a year after it was re opened & the toilet facilities were disgusting & I went there most years for the international races up til 1994 & they had not changed, the. Facilities at brand hatch were much better, but prices need to come down , a family of 4 will set you back £60 just to get through the gate & that's with 2 kids under the age of 14, if the kids are over 14 then it's £120 to get in, it's just silly, but then the circuit owners will start complaining about costs etc,
