petrol is flammable

James Haydon's custom Petronas leathers for, I'm guessing, a one off test. Recession, what recession?

Petronas FP1

Hmmm... so the workshop owner accidentally set fire to a residue of split fuel on the tank with a stray spark? Really?

No mention of a fire extinguisher but he moved three bikes out of the way so he could drag it outside.

"Just looks so familiar, seeing one like that. You didn't have to make it quite so authentic.Yeah, we saw a few like that," says James Haydon. Elsewhere Haydon is quoted as saying, "It would set on fire and I'd have to jump off." Corser's and Haydon's bikes caught fire at Monza in 2003 and it sounds like they had similar problems in testing too.

"The UK owner will have to wait for a new one to come from Malaysia." You mean Essex.

Good luck to the new owner!
