WSS Portimão: Lowes takes fourth win in a row

Sam Lowes claimed his fourth victory in a row in Portimão to remain on top of the FIM World Supersport championship table. The reigining champion - Kenan Sofuoglo - and Fabian Floret on the MAHI Racing Kawasaki's went into the final laps in first and second place, with the ZX-6R's making the most of their straight-line speed. Agreed revnev7

Lowes was just too good at the end , Superglue ought to start smiling a but , I know he's a winner and winners like to win , but come on Kenan chin up lad. Forets still got what it takes , infact I reckon he's faster now than he's ever been.

Congrats to Sam, ride of the day? Michael van der Mark! Yes ladies and gentleman, we have a propper motorcycle rider here in Holland. And it's about time. Agreed with the posters before me, race of the year so far. Must say the way Fabien Forret keeps up with the leaders whilst making 3 mistakes every lap at 40 years old, is pretty cool to watch.

It's like the old days

When we weren't awash with a sea of yellow imbecility.

Sam Lowes is the real deal and a nice lad to boot, I'm wondering which Superbike he'll land on next season. The new Honda V4 would be a good place and I think his talent deserves the opportunity.

Another brillliant ride. I keep on saying it. Sam Lowes is getting better and better. He is definately in the top 3 british riders just behind Scott Redding and Cal Cruchtlow
