new FZX750

looks like the old FZX750, that was a real winner......................, another shot that doesn't hit the target, don't get me wrong I love yamaha, all they had to do was build an FZ8 with 130bhp, fully adjustable suspension and no flat spots

Good direction, but..

Now we see the 'added cheapness' styling and detailing made acceptable on adventure bikes crossing over to other classes of bike. Note the black rear end, black front mudguard and all the gaps and bolts above the headlamp. It's not clever it screams CHEAP! Also what would really bug me is the offset instruments... WHY?

Unusual step?

"Yamaha took the unusual step of publicly admitting at the 2012 Cologne motorcycle show it wasn’t doing enough to bring out exciting motorcycles" Erm, didn't Kawasaki do this too in 2002/3? What Kawasaki managed to do after was live up to the promise not deliver an obviously and nastily cheap and ugly bike. Rather they introduced TWO sports bikes, a 1000 and a 600, that were genuinely exciting and class leading and neither, in any way, (but perhaps ride quality?) seemed like inferior products. Instead were game changing and are correctly held in high regard even today. Come on Yamaha, if this is the future you are in the past. And why oh why would anyone purchase this over a street triple?
