French law

Have just learnt about a french law that requires you to have reflective stickers on all sides of your helmet. The police are enforcing it with a fine of 135 euros if you don't have them attached. Be warned should you be travelling to France this summer for a holiday. Even visitors are not exempt. To learn more about it try...

Biggoted french politicians

Most helmet manufacturers specifically say do NOT put stickers on helmets. Doing so can affect the shell of the helmet and reduce the helmets structural integrity.

French motorcycle laws of recent have been brought about by a couple of senior French politicians with a bee in their bonnet and desire to legislate against bikers. The new government has rejected most of their proposals so I would check to see if it is actually truely French law.
