I have a 2003 Yamaha XT 600 E and want to put road going wheels on. What wheels would go on with the minimum of fuss ??

Yamaha XT 600E 2003

Hi Shapchap

I don't know what your idea of minimum fuss is??,if your wanting to fit 17" wheels front and back(i know it has a 17" rear at the moment)the front 21" posers the biggest problem,as fitting a 17" will effectively drop the front 2 inches(4 " differences,2" top 2" bottom:winkie:)so would need to either drop the back 2" or fit different forks or sanctions 2" longer,Think Yamaha XT 660 X wheels would be easiest to fit, which would give you a 120-70-17 front and a 160-60-17 rear, but you would have to check how much clearance you have in the swing arm as the extra 20mm either side could be your problem and the extra 15mm either side on the forks.Good Luck
