Valentino Rossi boosted by practice pace

Valentino Rossi quickly brushed off the crushing disappointment of his first lap exit in his home race in Mugello recently to give himself a huge confidence boost on the opening day of practice in Catalunya. The nine-times world champion topped the practice timesheets for the first time in 2013 after a best lap of 1.42.297 put him just 0.049s clear of...

It's called 'payback' bud. Get it? Obviously not. Your God's doing a great job in the t-shirt department though so be happy :) (I guess you bought one?)..........shame about his results though. That's gotta hurt ;)

Nos

Nos your a typicle arm chair racer. That was a big accident Rossi had last time out. So To set the fastest time today Was a test of charactor and ability.  So why not give the guy a bit of credit and say well done. You obviously  ride a 125 and dont go that quickly on it because other wise you would relize how skilful top riders like  Rossi are. So next time you slag a rider of just remember they have more talent in their little finger than you have in your entire body

Very little in it if you only go by the fastest laps. Lorenzo was 1/20th of a second off and Pedrosa about 1/10th of a second behind. However Lorenzo was by far the most consistent with only 1.56 seconds between his fastest and slowest laps. He'll be the man to beat this weekend in my opinion. Rossi should do well as he's had brilliant results at this circuit, but he'll need to be a lot more consistent in his lap times. Put it this way, if he doesn't do well here I think he should retire so some younger, hungrier guy like Espargaro can have a decent ride.

Nostro , it's that very thing that makes you such a cunt.. Doing as well as you did/didn't(depending on your perspective) you should appreciate more than most what Rossi has done over the rest. Some folk need reminding that after two years in the wilderness he came back and totally dominated the very guys who were supposed to be the new generation and Casey arguably at the best he ever was with back to back titles it took serious injury for Jorge to get close, and Ducati(Rossi), for Casey to finally get his own back and on the finest motorcycle Honda ever built... Expecting Rossi to do the same 'again' 3 years further down the line in his mid 30's before allocating him any credit whatsoever is like asking Mick Hailwood to comeback now(?) and beat John McGuinness on an MV Brutiale.. Your are the perfect example of someone who doesn't realise how fucking stupid they are and can prove it.... Just being in the top 4 is pretty fucking amazing considering how much and many times, the bikes have changed since he started..
