No qualifying joy again for Valentino Rossi

True Story

Some around here were surprised that he wasn't top Yamaha (*cough* Wosi *cough*).

Anyway, he's given himself every chance to equal his factory Ducati record of three DNFs in a row.  Fingers crossed!

Ah

The voice of a "real fan", eh Sumo? Hoping a rider crashes? Nice.

On a serious note

Seventh isn't the end of the world, he races better than he qualifies, seems happier on the Yam and has always gone well in Barcelona. So we may well be seeing him carve his way through the field and fight for the podium. I think Dani has the top step in the bag though.......

Was just thinking, in his heyday we never heard any of this bollocks he's coming out with week in, week out. Can't do this can't do that, this aint right, that aInt right.....................lets face it, you just cannot cut it anymore Vale. Miracle man Jerry Burgess seems like he's lost the plot as well

We're still here

but there ain't much to shout about is there?

As far as his poor qualifying, I have thought about it and I don't think I'd be any more assured even if he did have a second - even first - row start as they still don't guarantee a safe start. Perhaps as a fan it's the result of two years in the wilderness on the Ducati....

Crikey, his best chance of a finish is to let Bautista et al get away then sneak up and pass them while they're not looking!!

Should Cal finish higher in the championship Rossi should call it quits and retire.. With Cal hopefully picking up his ride and more importantly .. Factory wage.. Rossi doesn't have anything to prove anymore. . His record sees to that .. And I dare say doesn't need the money .. As the saying goes.. It's better to burn out than fade away.. As it stands at the minute he's being blown out and fading away..
