Catalunya MotoGP: Lorenzo dominates to take victory

Jorge Lorenzo took a dominating win in his home GP at Catalunya today, beating Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez with ease to make an all-Spanish podium. Lorenzo squeezed aside the pole man Pedrosa off the line to lead from the off, and although Pedrosa managed to pull in his lead a number of times, he was never close enough to make...

Honda on 2nd engine...hmmm

How many engines has Yamaha used now. 5 is it?

This could mean a huge advantage to Honda in the second half of the season. Pedrosa should be happy with that fact alone.

Smith finished well. Some might say due to crashes but staying on the bike is what it's all about too.

Bautista... Mr brainiac.

Decent ride by valentino. Getting closer could have easily been on the podium from mm crash. Btw didn't touch pedrosa. Dovi must wish he had stayed at tech 3. Still going no where in the races. Decent qualifying means nothing. Anyway roll on assen as I will be there, can't wait!

Fairly boring race, but great ride by JL, he's like a machine on that bike. Thought there might be more of a tussle between DP and MM, if it was any other rider in front, Marc would of got through, but you can see he is very cautious to avoid taking Dani out. Hoped Rossi would be nearer to fight for the podium, but 5 secs behind isn't so bad. Is that 5 secs due to his age or is it lack of data and a bike that is built for JL, who knows only time will tell until more races are run. Brilliant ride by Bradders and to finish off, another twattish ride by Bautista.

Nothing special about this race Jorge wins hats off to him what a twat Bautista really is almost taking Rossi out again can't wait till the game of musical chairs comes along and the clown gets given his orders just wondering what does he have against Yamaha riders last year at Assen he wiped out Lorenzo fast forward 2013 he takes Vale out in his home race and almost today. Roll on Assen next Saturday hopefully it provides excitement.

Almost correct. Lorenzo and Crutchlow are both on engine number 4 of a possible 5 for the season. Oh. Dear. Dani & Marquez are both on engine number 2. Doesn't look good for Cal & Jorge to avoid exceeding the maximum quota and more importantly relinquishing points in the process... imagine the end of season will be very interesting dependent on their level of crashing and thrashing for the next 8 or so rounds.. Well done to Jorge, superb display. In contrast to Bautista who is a complete cabbage. And finally.. unlucky Cal. Would've be cool to see a 6 for 6. Still, great effort so far this year from the Coventry man. More delights to follow am sure!
