Now you've kindly provided some info, MCN, I reckon Suzuki's decision is pretty wise. The bike is probably at the spec required for 17th June 2013, as that would be the best way to measure it up, and, appears to be a good effort even with RdP on it. The rule changes for 2014 will require and produce different bikes and it would be easy to turn up with the wrong package so waiting a year might be a smart move for Suzuki.

I'd have thought the best way to develop it is to race it but obviously Suzuki are being cautious, they'd better hope the 2014/15 RCV/M1/D16/anything else aren't game changers or they'll be pissing on a nuclear melt down.
