Honda talks about 2014 Honda RC213V

Honda has confirmed its new 2014 factory RC213V machine is a ‘completely brand new’ prototype bike that Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez could race this season if they are happy with improvements. The new RC213V was shown off briefly this morning at the Motorland Aragon track in Spain where rain and cold conditions has prevented the Repsol Honda duo from completing...

@Stonered "About time Dorna changed the rules now isn't it...now that Honda have completed their development to the existing rules? Maybe a new tyre supplier? :)" I know how its the current vogue to blame DORNA for everything and to accuse them of sabotaging anyone who doesn't have the number 46 on their bike. But in this case it was the MMSA (The factorys) themselves that wanted the cut in fuel from 21 to 20 litres. As has been said, you have to be a bit in awe of Hondas commitment to winning regardless of cost. At least improved fuel efficiency has road use even if it doesn't make for great racing.

yrm1 when did they complain about moto3? as afar as i heard they said they wont develop the bike, nor have a factory team in moto3. Thats it. So even though they keep getting their asses handed by KTM they really dont give a toss it seems.

Veritas - only pissing about mate :). My annoyance is the changing of rules altogether. Just pick a set of rules on bike parameters ( so to speak) and let them build what they can for a fixed period ( say 5 years). No controlled tyres, ecu's etc. cost get reduced by stability and repeat ability. Change equals cost.

The bike has been on track today and hasn't made a big enough impression on Pedrosa for him to want to use it, or the chassis, at the next race.

Lorenzo fastest again by half a second from the best Honda
