Absolute class. How is the SX1000 was looking at that and the Versys 1000 recently.

z1000SX, well very good really.

just got back from a Scotland trip over 5 days we did about 1400 miles. Excluding BSB day where we perhaps did 100, we did about 300miles a day. On the way up via Wales, Peak District, Dales, Lakes, Borders and central Scotland all A roads.

Bike behaved brilliantly - great roads, lots of rollercoaster sections and the suspension soaked it all up without wallowing. The Riding position was great and with screen on lowest setting air was deflected into my chest and no helmet noise.

Monday was a blast back mainly on the Mway - screen highest setting put the air blast into my shoulders but not head - I guess that is because of the shpae of the screen with its wings. Good for 90+ comfortable seat, good leg and arm room ( I am just about 6 foot).

No I really enjoyed the bike over the 5 days. Not the explosive power of the ZZR but that meant I could actually use more of what was available.

More than happy with decision.
