Lacking strength in depth is something that Dorna have long been guilty of as far as Motogp goes in general. They have relied for far too long on always using Valentino Rossi's name and charisma to promote the sport in all media. they have not put the effort in to broaden the base of the class. Yes it would be good to add vareity to new territories for the sport and sell more bikes to emerging markets....but the class is still loaded with Spanish & Italian riders. That needs to be addressed too.
