Alvaro Bautista not shocked by Suzuki pace

Former Suzuki MotoGP rider Alvaro Bautista says he has not been surprised at the impressive testing pace shown by the Japanese factory’s new 1000cc machine in testing this week. Frenchman Randy de Puniet raised more than a few eyebrows when he set the eighth fastest time during a one-day session at the Catalunya track near Barcelona on Monday. The current Aspar Aprilia...

Hmmm

Yes Alvaro , but you still threw it down the road, except when its contract time & then you can magic a podium to secure a contract, which you've one for the last few years.if you was in my team. You wouldn't have got past the 2nd year

Which is why better things were

expected of both Bautista and Bradl. Both had solid debut years on new steeds. Both should be performing better 2013. Yeah, Showa and Nissin for Gresini, but a years worth of data should be paying better dividends. Perhaps the RCV213 is not the armchair rocketship dunces like Wosi would have us believe.

Nostradamus. Fair point about gresini being on Showa & nissin , they're the base stuff for customer rcv, but Bautista is experienced enough to develop these parts. Still reckon he should be fired. There are other riders worthy of a hrc machine

Just for the record

12 DNFs in 56 starts in Motogp. Not quite so crash happy as some people think.

True, but not by much.

It's True about vermeulen and Loris. But bear in mind that If (If) Sete had not disstroyed Loris' Season in 2006 Ducati would have had their first title with an italian at the Helm. Pity it had to be Stoner on a rocket ship in 2007... As for vermeulen? well we will never know about that one judging by his wet track performances. As for Bautista? truly a natural talent. is that a diplomatic comment?

Of course Hopper may not be alien material but he happened to be one of the guys who understood Suzuki better then anyone of the riders they have had in the past minus Roberts Jr winning the championship in 2000.
