Staff Blog: How’s that for the ultimate in accessories?

I’m not a slave to fashion and wouldn’t normally be classed as a girlie-girl but as a bit of fun I thought I’d add a little colour coded accessory to my Fazer8, well not exactly to the bike but more to me. The blue wheels and detailing on the bike aren’t to everyone’s taste, at first I thought they were...

And did you tell your insurer about the "modification"?

motorcycling, really...

It's a great colour match Alison and very pretty, but to be absolutely honest I'd prefer to see some oil under those nails from doing something to your bike. It might raise your credibility with the (mainly male) forum membership.  Well it would with me anyway, Just a thought...

Jesus, she's just having a laugh, get a grip.

i'd hate to meet half of you prudish, beige trousered types down the pub. Arguing how your Deauville gets you seen more on the road because its panniers stick out half an inch wider than a Veradero. Yawn.

Whatever Floats Your Boat

Don't listen to the bah-humbug brigade Alison, biking is supposed to be fun. Pesonally I never add an accessory which doesn't have a performance advantage but that's just me. Others enjoy customising so go for it and if it brings pleasure then it's been worth the effort.

Nail varnish.

Yeah, bikes are all about fun and it takes all types to make a forum including nail varnished, beige trousered Deauville riders with extra wide panniers.  Whatever floats your boat.
