Crutchlow expects Lorenzo to bounce back from injury blow

British rider Cal Crutchlow said he fully expects Jorge Lorenzo to bounce back quickly from a broken left collarbone the reigning world champion suffered in a high speed practice crash at Assen earlier today. The Spaniard had dominated this morning’s opening practice in dry conditions when he fell heavily in a rain-lashed FP2. Lorenzo’s factory Yamaha YZR-M1 appeared to clip a white...

How do you know?

The factory M1 has a better clutch, better electronics and a better fuel tank for weight distribution on full fuel

How do you know that Cal wouldn't find those an improvement over his own bke. You don't. That's fact and you have no point to prove. No-one knows.

Or could be that you have your own agenda for hoping he wouldn't be quicker on the factory M1 than his own...

Cal would have a wet sessions and one dryish to fully get to grips with Jorges bike and a completely different set up to what he usually rides.. That's a tall order.. The sport is littered with satellite riders who went no faster on factory bikes..

if i was Cals management i'd be wary of any offer to ride Jorges bike.

in his career stakes finishing lower on the works bike would be a disaster.

slowly, slowly, catchy monkey should be Cals motto as far as getting a works bike next year as opposed to a hastily arranged fill-in in a (possibly wet) race situation.

you and i might well jump at the chance but we're not racing in the premier motorcycle class.

Cal on Jorge's bike?!

Just like Hardlylean's desire to tongue tickle the tiny testes of the Tavullia  terror it wasn't ever going to happen outside of the wholly non-pragmatic minds of a bunch of couch surfers.

use your loaf chaps

These bikes are tested with part by part for the riders to adapt and assess the improvement and set for the individual style of each rider just to jump on jorges machine at a days notice would likely as not result in an initially slower time , however to obtain certain parts for Cals existing machi ery would be a help shorter term which is all we are looking at jorge will be on that bike in a fortnight , engage brain before getting carried away with wild ideas of yamaha donating lorenzos prized possessions
