Assen MotoGP: Rossi takes dominant win

Valentino Rossi took his 80th premier class win with a dominant performance at Assen today onboard the factory Yamaha. The victory marks Rossi's first win since the Malaysian grand prix in 2010. Starting from the second row, Rossi moved up to third at the end of the first lap with a hard move on German Stefan Bradl at the final chicane. On lap...

when you've finished taking a shit and having a wash in your local river why don't you crawl back into your cave light a candle and go fuck yourself - it was an epic ride from cal, rossi, and and pretty much everyone who lined up on the grid today keep up the good work 35 :) legend!

FuckwitBenny

Yes I agree Benny, the difference between factory, and non factory, class riders was glaringly obvious this weekend.... One got a pole and his 3rd podium of the season and the other qualified 15th and ended up tenth, turned over yet again by a rookie(for the second race in succession) and a CRT.... Cal is doing a stunning job and is already at a higher, faster level than Dovi and will be Tech 3's most successful rider ever in a few more races and will be stepping up another level again when he gets that factory bike next season. Get in there you HoneyBadger....

Average ride Benny

A poor start yes, but how much control do the riders have over the start with launch control. Maybe the Tech3 launch control isn't as good as the factory bikes. Who knows but it's the same virtually every race. Neither does the Tech3 bike have the revised fuel tank that helps the two factory bikes early in the race on full fuel.

However, Cal's ride back to the front, taking one factory Honda and very nearly taking the second was a superb ride. He's absolutely right on the pace of the front runners and if they could sort out the start and the full fuel issue, a win doesn't look beyond possibility. The speed is definitely there.

Average... Yeah right, keep on saying it, you may just convince yourself. No-one else gives a toss about your sniping. Where were the satellite Hondas?

Great race by Rossi, no doubt about that, looked comfortable all race and credit where it's due he deserved the win.

Marquez as lairy as ever but not looking like winning in the last few races. Maybe calming down and being smoother may help but the Honda always looks a handful with both current riders and last year's rider bending them into all sorts of shapes.

Pedrosa seems to have gone off the boil and has struggled again late on in a race. Still confident and just settling for points biding his time? Or in trouble?

Lorenzo. Super human effort. Thought he was going for the win early on the way he was moving forward....

So come on Yamaha, give Tech3 the revised fuel tank and lets have 5 riders battling for the lead right from the start.

now then....

did that prick of repsol not say he guaranteed Rossi would never win again over and over?
Did the worlds worst predictor say Pedrosa was in a different league now and Rossi would never beat him again?
Where are the likes of brain dead nev and pacey casey now?

On a more serious note...great race by Rossi and Lorenzo is just incredible to do what he did.
Bit worried about Dani's head now.
Crutchlow very good but much as expected.
Ducati's....who said they have improved buttboy?

Starts

Jorge messed up the start a few races ago. If it was all down to launch control we'd have the same starts each week. Cal got a superb pole and fought back really well, but he choked his start again.
