Valentino Rossi ranks Assen win as one of best ever

Valentino Rossi ranked his 80th MotoGP victory in an enthralling Assen race yesterday (Saturday) as one of the best of his career after he rolled back the years to win for the first time since 2010. Winless since the Sepang race in Malaysia 32 months ago, Rossi controlled the 26-lap Dutch TT from the sixth lap to notch an incredible 106th...

Weskit I look forward to reminding you of your "bold prediction" when you are proved wrong and the greatest of all time wins yet another race!!! Thing is it doesn't matter whether Val goes on to win another 100, there will always be nobheads like you every step of the way wanting to put great riders down to make themselves feel a little less small. Who gives a ... about your opinion anyway.

Giggly school girls

I wouldn't get too excited. One race is not a trend - certainly not in the face of two bashed and broken Aliens. Assen is special. It is a heavily cambered track that can mask from end woes. Nr.6 should be back at his station with Cal soon enough.

That's why the Ducati's did really well..........

People are acting like Lorenzo is the be all and end all... Marq has beaten Lorenzo, Ped is top of the championship atm and Ped won many more races towards the end of last year than Lorenzo did. Rossi beat both Hondas today, if he wasn't as fast as he was he wouldn't have beaten them... So whatever you say he was fast this weekend, will he be fast every weekend? Who knows, but you cannot say just because one person was injured he doesn't deserve it. Does that mean Lorenzo didn't deserve 2010 because Rossi was injured? Did lorenzo not deserve last year because the same happened to Stoner?

hold up Nostro

Last year he was a mid packer with no hope no matter what bike he was on and according to you that was a trend that was to continue.
Oh and the fact you said he would never win again.

Now suddenly he wins again it was a one off because of the track.....Your unbelievable!

I said Buelli

you dozy old fool. I doubted the world nr.6 would win again less there were extenuating circumstances. A badly damaged Lorenzo and a less so but still hampered Marquez very much fit that criteria.

Back in your wee box, quiet where you've been most of this year.

performance that..

..parallels Qatar really. Once again, ill handling Hondas allowed Flo to breeze by pretty easily. Only difference being no Lorenzo at the front. If he was fit, you can bet Lorenzo wouldve breezed this round, despite what the yellow fandom keep gushing on about...

World Nr.6 wins a race. That's the same amount of wins as Marquez, more than Crutchlow and still he's the world Nr.6. The fact that you still insist to call Rossi Nr.6 astonishes me. Not even the worst of Rossi haters like RidgeRacer, weskit and Bultoboy would call him Nr.6, or maybe they would, they're after all obviously mentally unable to comprehend Rossi doing anything good.

Shutup Foggy.. soggy toggy.

I wasn't wishing a crash on weskit..but referring to the one he had, smashing up his pride & joy.

Keep your big nose out of other people's banter and have a wank in your #35 birthday socks you bought yourself or summats...

Crashing is part of motorcycling and ol wosi has had his fair share let me tell ya..although not as many as Nostro apparently, who has obviously taken some serious bumps to the head.

more chestbeating from the previously cupboard dwelling amoebae below. Look here diddlingthomas, yamaha lead the constructors. Four wins outta seven for Yamaha suggests that your hero is riding what currently is the best bike. Frankly hes done f all with it before and he finally gets a win when the main protaganist is injured.Once the main man is back to full fitness Flos wins will be far and few between. maybe you should go and console your yellow softcock boyfriend revhisnuts when that time comes, he seems to be as mentally fragile as you.
