Aaaaeeeyyy, What Happened to Fonzie's Knucklehead?

You guys may not have watched Happy Days when it first aired in the US, but the character of Fonzie is known the world over as the King of Cool.  Most remember him riding his silver Triumph, but he actually started out on a '47 Knucklehead Bobber.

he's known by a more familiar name than that.

Here's some interesting pics too  Detroit.....some interesting comparisons (the American bike on vernor hwy and the Brit bike ridden by un- named rider) and the 2 scrubbed up Ladies with the grubbed up biker.:smile...the Outlaws never seem to give the females in their groups names.

Model in Question

That's an interesting photo.  The bike in the picture looks to be made up of several different bikes.  It has a springer front end, which was used until 1948.  The gas tanks, seat, saddlebags, luggage rack and rear fender are from a later model Duo-Glide 1963 to 1964.  The engine is a flathead model, but I can't tell if it's a WL or UL.  Looks to be in a hardtail frame, but no idea what year that is.  The mirrors are aftermarket and if that's a battery between his leg and rear fender, then it as some variety of aftermarket oil tank as well.
