Fairing repairs

I've broken the fairing on my K1200, trying to get it repaired has become a nightmare.

Of the two repairers to me, I live in Bishops Stortford, one fell out with his painter and that for some reason meant he couldn't fix the fairing and the other never bothered to send me a quote or return my calls.

Does anyone know of a reasonably local, to me, reliable repairer?

Fairing

Hi mate, would you be prepared to travel to Peterborough ? Some of my mates have had fairing repairs, and they look awesome !! I presume you mean plastic welding ? They also have the kit to copy and reproduce most decals as well. I dont know the name of the company off the top of my head, but i am out on the bike today, and can find out, and hopefully let you know this evening. If i have any luck i will pm you some time tonight.

Get some of this

Fairings & plastics on bikes & cars are all ABS plastic, yeah the same stuff as plumbing pipes.

I've used it on my side covers fixing cracks & re-fixing snapped off mount lugs.

You can get in any high street plumbing supplier, just ask for some ABS pipe cement
