German MotoGP: Marquez scorches to win

Marc Marquez has scorched to victory in Germany, taking the win easily despite a late challenge from Cal Crutchlow. Valentino Rossi led off the line, although Stefan Bradl was able to squeeze past on the second lap and hold an early lead, before Marquez also made it past. They then made a small break after a mistake from Rossi dropped him...

quote from crutch on a site that reports quotes accurately!

'Marc rode fantastic, and Valentino also. I don't think Marc should discredit the result. Even though Dani and Jorge were not here, the pace showed - he was even faster than last year's race pace. So I believe the result could have been the same anyway'

he is clearly only commending MM

Anyway cracking race, shame for JL & Dani, I don't like to see any racer injured, but as all the guys below who understand racing have noted 'first you have to finish'!!

great stuff from Cal

Seems his learning curve still has a bit left in it, after all you can teach a fast rider not to crash ...

The passes on Rossi and Bradl were aggressive and clinical, something he seemed to lack last year when being held up by Dovi. And all this with gravel rash and the added pressure of being top yamaha with Lorenzo taking some time off.
