Jorge Lorenzo to race in Laguna Seca?

Injury-ravaged Jorge Lorenzo might have ruled himself out of competing in this weekend’s Laguna Seca MotoGP round, but Yamaha has left the door open for the reigning world champion to return in California. if he flys out to laguna

If he turns up he'll race even if its not his intention. A few laps to test the shoulder during FP. Realise he's fast enough for Q2 -whoops he's on the starting grid. Just hope he stays out of trouble.

The problem is not to test the shouder

The problem is that if he hits his shoulder for the 3d time in a row it could be game over for ever...

If he's worried about the leaders getting away...

...then he should ride, if his collarbone allows him to. I feel Marquez has really learnt after the last round in Germany and he's my favourite for the win at Laguna despite it being his first time racing there, and if he keeps winning then he will only get stronger, and harder to beat for Lorenzo and Pedrosa when they get back to full fitness.

If Pedrosa or Lorenzo crash on those shoulders again, especially Lorenzo, as the plate will mean the pressure is transmitted straight to the joint, it could well be another Spies type injury. Motorcycle racing is not conducive to a fracture free life.
