Nicky Hayden told no factory Ducati ride in 2014

Nicky Hayden will not be offered a new factory Ducati contract for 2014. The universally popular American was told by Ducati during last weekend’s German MotoGP round at the Sachsenring’s of the Bologna factory’s plan not to offer him a new deal to keep on a Desmosedici for a sixth season. Ducati though don’t want to lose the experienced 31-year-old and will...

What a kick in the teeth

Right before the US GP too. Crutchlow then? Can Ducati afford his salary and the repair bills though?

Cal dont go there

Cal dont go to Ducati ,stay at tech 3 Yamaha for another year, that'll put you in synce with Rossi Lorenzo Marquez & pedrosa , plus there'll be seats at Suzuki as well. You've got a good chance of winning a race but go to Ducati you'll get paid a lot of money to ride a crap bike & no chance of winning a race...

Money money money

I honestly think Cal will go to Ducati and pick up a descent pay cheque. He has mentioned time and time again about money which is a shame cause it seems more important to him than winning races and championships. Plus if he gets on that bike he is gonna get hurt as he chucks the best bike on the grid down the road pretty much every week so god knows how many times he will be thrown into orbit riding that unrideable beast. Don't like the guy but I wouldn't like to see him get hurt.

What did I told you... Ducati is the maximum he deserves.

And according to all your previous posts regarding Pedro and others, Ducati needs a passport rider to increase sales in UK right?

UK Motorcycle Sales above 500cc until June 2013:

Total Market 22.346

Triumph 4.488

BMW 3.573

Honda 2.891

Kawasaki 2.407

HD 2.222

Yamaha 2.093

Suzuki 1.773

Ducati 1.284

Ahahahaha you are a joke.

Cal might only have another couple of years left in the premier class so he has to cash in while he is still a valuable commodity. Guess you must go to work purely for the love of it? Trophies are a fat lot of use if you have to display them in a grotty little caravan on the Isle of Man. lol

if I was Cal

I would cash in with Ducati. He is never going to a Marquez/Rossi-of-old.

icashing in was good enough for Dovi, why not Cal.

love to see him on a factory ride but a decent one would be better.

with the spaniards stitching it up from grass roots to factories even dictating who rides their engines (yam) and production RCV's(Honda) it's his best option.

still, he'll at least have as many MotoGP WC's as Dani,LOL.
