Nicky Hayden told no factory Ducati ride in 2014

Nicky Hayden will not be offered a new factory Ducati contract for 2014. The universally popular American was told by Ducati during last weekend’s German MotoGP round at the Sachsenring’s of the Bologna factory’s plan not to offer him a new deal to keep on a Desmosedici for a sixth season. Ducati though don’t want to lose the experienced 31-year-old and will...

Will Cal have a choice? Lets see what yamaha offer him, or don't! As for Hayden winning in wsb? no chance on a Penigale shod in pirellis. Not for a couple of years anyway

Wasted years

for Hayden on that Ducati, he can't be daft enough to take a WSB seat on another shite Ducati, he deserves better than that.

A  factory Panigale in WSB? that's a sure fire career ending option at the moment.

Nicky's the best of the Americans in Motogp and with 3 GPs now in the USA it would be strange for him to go.

The problem is not Cal's it's a Moto GP problem they cannot afford Cal to go to Ducati and vanish into oblivion like Dovi has,Dovi was expendable Cal isn't if he goes the same way then you revert to type 3 Spaniards and the great tee shirt seller with the odd win,non of e'm have anything to say that's not politically correct and there will be no WSB to stop the boredom cuz that's just about to have it's nuts cut off.

Well well this throws the cat amongest the pigeons but lets be honest ever since Hayden switched from Honda to Ducati at the end of 2008 its been a complete nightmare 3 podium finishes and a best standing of 7th which came in 2010 it will be interesting to see where he ends up. As for who will replace him I see the name Spies but that's a very big risk if they take him on. As for Nicky where will he end up WSBK on a factory Kawasaki or BMW if he goes there his results will improve I just hope he does not ride a Ducati there like in MotoGP.

Cal should go for the best bike to get the best results and its not Ducati! I'm sure none of them are badly paid. In years to come, he will want people to remember him for how well he did in Moto GP, not for how big his pay cheque was at the time. Whilst he's riding as well as he is, he needs the best bike to take advantage. He might not crash as often if he has a bike that doesn't need to be thrashed past its limit to get results. I'm sure he would like to be a champion rather than the best paid mid-fielder!!
