HRC boss: Laguna challenge no problem for Marc Marquez

The fact that Marc Marquez will have never ridden anything bigger than a scooter around the Laguna Seca track when he begins the first MotoGP practice session on Friday morning will not pose any concern to the current world championship leader. The Spaniard will go into this weekend’s California clash completely raw having never ridden the challenging Laguna Seca track before. Marquez,...

MM is World champion in MotoGP. Of course he has to learn Laguna. That will not stop MM to take a podium at least. This kid can ride a Motorcycle. He is only getting better every time he rides the RCV. George is injured, Dani is injured. Cal is great, but hasn't got the bike in the first lap. Rossi was great., but jus't the 4th Allien now. Plus this is that season that any World champ needs. MM has that angel ridding on his shoulder. How many sick crashes has he had!

I don't think he'll struggle

He probably won't be blazingly fast from the off, but I am pretty sure that by Saturday morning he will know how to ride the track quick enough to challenge for pole and then the win. Look how Pedrosa went in 2006, no knowledge at all of the track, but he finished a brilliant second and almost beat Nicky Hayden who had extensive knowledge of the track from his AMA days. He'll be fine.

A short track is obviously easier to learn. MM for the win, unless he ends up in a scrap with Vale.....................and CC sneaks it ;)

MM for the win

I'm thinking MM for the win. But he is due an injury. You can't have too many get offs at 210mph and walk away for ever. Look what happened to Rainey.
