Exclusive: Casey Stoner to test factory Honda in Japan

Double world champion Casey Stoner will make a dramatic return to MotoGP action next month when he tests a factory Honda RC213V at the Twin Ring Motegi track in Japan, MCN can reveal. The outspoken but blindingly fast Australian, who retired from MotoGP immediately after the final race of 2012 in Valencia last November, will take part in a two-day test...

"HRC though has made it crystal clear that Stoner will not race as a wild card in his home round on October 20 or a week later in Honda’s home race in Japan"

Should stoner and MM ever meet on track, be under no illusion. It'd be stoner attempting to follow MM and trying to learn something.

Not exactly unusual for a recently retired rider to test-ride a bike. Though Honda could easily be saying "Go on Casey ... just one little test ride ... " Bit harsh on Freddie. He retired due to injury, and after being on Hondas his whole career he came back on a yamaha wearing leathers that were just a touch snugger than they were before.

But Soup's, Casey and HRC are Brothers in Arms...

...indelibly linked. That's just The Walk of Life they've both chosen to take, down The Telegraph Road, you know, near The Tunnel of Love. Why Worry though, it's just Their Latest Trick...

"The regular HRC test rider is said to have a significant injury."

Ya-hah!..Nakamoto gave him a swift hard kick to the knackers when there was a chance Stoner was available. It was an unavoidable injury. Fo' shnizzle my nizzle...

F1 would suit Moaner better, plenty of whinny little pussies that don’t like being overtaken.

He is not coming back...

Adriana does not let him... plus he needs to keep fish feeding his kid and fist feeding his own arse...

I seriously would like to see him come back because:

a. He will look ridiculous not keeping his decision of leaving and he would have to swallow all bad things he stated about the sport

b. He will look ridiculous because Marquez will eat him alive

c. He will look ridiculous cause the other boys won't play with him (I only see smiles in the padocks now that he's gone)

d. His followers will look ridiculous when they will realize that Stoner is not the superhero they thought

Just look at the official times of Motegi after so many months without riding... I bet they will be waaaaay far from the current real motorcycle riders (V8 excluded).

got it in one El D

Apart from the fact he does not want to come back even if he did Adriana would not let him so unless he gets a divorce we will never see Marquez blow him into the weeds.

El D Stoner Followers

El D.  There were never crowds of Stoner followers,

much as you want someone to target abuse at.

"Orange thong wearers" etc. yawn.

Nor are there crowds of Lorenzo or Pedrosa fans,

There are bike racing fans and there are Rossi fans.
