Worthy cause?

Kevin Ash was a good journo who sadly died while doing something he loved.

To celebrate his life is commendable but is it only me that has reservations about the education of his daughters being a worthy cause?

If

you read it properly you'll see that Kevin set the fund up himself for his daughters education.. presumably whilst the man was still alive.

Honestly....  if you care enough to go to the event, and make a contribution then what difference does your opinion make about where it goes? It's Kevin Ash's day.. With proceeds going toward the things he loved.

Really meatbingo... what are you like?

I read the eventbrite blurb properly, twice. I see no mention of who set up the fund at all but i doubt that 'The Kevin Ash Fund' was set up by Kevin Ash.

You are right of course that my opinions make no difference but surely these forums only survive because people have them. And, in my opinion, private/tertiary education is not a worthy cause.
