Which revived Yamaha icon would you buy?

In this week's MCN Yamaha confirmed plans to bring back the iconic XT500 alongside more of their iconic bikes, such as the RD350. Which one of the revived classics would you like to see? pollcomment

Best bike I ever had..

I'd rather have a reissued or modernised XJ 650. fun, fast, practical, low maintenance. Or do me a shaft driven version of the new MT 09 and I'll be happy

FS1E :)

how on earth are they going to get the RD350 through the modern emissions regulations?

That's what killed 2 strokes in the first place!

Cheers,

Baz

None of the above

Sorry but i wouldn't be keen on parting with my hard earned on any of the bikes mentioned, now if they revived the 02-04 FZS600 Fazer i would be one of the first through the door.

YZF1000R Thunderace

Bring back the YZF1000R Thunderace, but with 6 gears, no flat spot and a better EXUP valve. Perfection.

Make an RD 450

using the engine from the YZ450F. Could be a right laugh.

My TDR 250

would be top of the list. would love to have it back again. Great fun to ride and still looks good today(in Black and Yellow)

The XT 500 would still be a fun off roader too, so bring that back.

The 350LC would feel dated, I think, especially in terms of brakes and suspension. A brand spanking up-to-date version would be a different kettle of fish tough. Why stop there? If we are bringing back 1980s two stokes give me a RD500LC V4 with modern suspension and radial brakes and a few electronics. (not too much wheelie control though, it still needs to be a hooligan!)
