Exclusive: Cal Crutchlow ready for Ducati challenge

Cal Crutchlow has admitted the challenge of making Ducati’s struggling factory Desmosedici machine a winner again in the MotoGP world championship will be the toughest of his career. Speaking for the first time since the British rider signed a two-year deal to join the Bologna factory from the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 squad next season, Crutchlow told MCN in an exclusive...

I believe vmax summed it up...only factory rides win championships ... Satellites could only win races after factory mess ups. So cal did the only thing he could...and just so happened to get paid a wedge for making a decision he was going to make last year...actually probably more than he would have got out of Ducati last year. I wish him all the best!!

hm, interesting pic but the quotes seem a little wrong.

i'll correct them.

"A monkey with 5 million in his back pocket gets a piggy-back"

"cheeky chimp with 5 million in his back pocket tries it on"

there, looks much better and let's face it, being called a chimp by the owner of an internet forum is easily countered when you have a works ride with 5 million in your back pocket.

What the fuck's up with you MCN morons?

It's a slack period, and we're bored so stop erasing all my good work.

Benny does have a point. It's quiet and some of his stuff is funny, you gotta admit it? Or maybe not.  If the OTT xenophobia bugs you then that's unfortunate. Don't read it I guess.

Agree but...

I don't disagree PaceyCaser - he has made the right move in the circumstances and as has been said if it is the right move for him then its the right move. But if the money had been exactly the same between yamaha and ducati then I'm sure he'd have stayed put. Thats why I say all the endless reference to full factory really, in this contect, means more money.
