Casey Stoner tests 2014 factory Honda but no wild card plans

Casey Stoner was able to give HRC technical staff vital information on development of its 2014 factory RC213V MotoGP prototype at the Twin Ring Motegi track in Japan today. But the Aussie ruled out any plans to race as a wild card later this season after it was rumoured he would make a sensational return to racing in his home race...

Development

Nakamoto said: “Over the course of Casey's two-day test, we’ve been able to gather a vast amount of data and ideas for development. Consequently, we aim to increase our pace of development and hope that this, in turn, will lead to us winning this year's Championship.

One question - How come he couldn't do this in 4 years for Ducati ?

Answer - Stoner did

It's the lanky yellow puke that preferred to let Hayden do the testing donkey work for him as he himself went swanning around in cars racing to 18th as I recall. The reality never lived up to the myth with the current world nr.6. He was only ever good on a good bike. That's the problem with silver spoons - they leave one with a very delicate disposition.

One question - How come Ducati couldn't do this in 4 years with Stoner or 2 years with Rossi?

Ducatis to beat factory Hondas and Yamahas being such an easy task in the first place of course, just like riding them to such victories.

why couldn't Casey do it

Hedge

Honda has the luxury of having Stoner in the wings, usualy and by rules testing can only be undertaken by test riders.

Yamaha have this year gone for the Rossi GP11.1 rout, say ye testing next years bike(next years bike?)

... it was a twist on Saturn's stab at Stoner's development ability, but that answers it quite concisely... thanks.

SM you fool

Nostro's not bitter. I've been laughing at the flip-flopping yellow clown princess for years now. Nothings changed 2013 either. Nr.6 reiterates what I've been saying all this time. He's a level down from that of the Spanish conquistadors (and Casey Stoner of course!).
