MOt and Tax

having recently contacted a local garage about getting my bike booked in for an MOT, I was told I could ride the bike to the MOT test centre even though it is not taxed. Is this correct

I have done that and never got stopped. As you can't get tax til it's moted.  Just make sure it has full insuraces before you go and it should be fine.

Thanks for that. I've also checked with another source and they have said the same as long as the bike is insured and has apt at the MOT station :smile

MOT

You are correct you are allowed to travel to the MOT test on your bike so long as its booked in, and you must also have insurance. Is it your first mot on your bike as you can get it done one month before it runs out,
