Lotus making their own Engines

Now that's a new Concept.........most of their cars have developments of ,or are engines supplied by other using a KTM engine isn't that unusual........ however what.s really disapointing are the Bike's looks...............Ugly...unlike virtually every Car they have ever built.

Very welcome. Both Lotus entering the bike market and something that looks a bit different. Currently all the superbikes look virtually the same with different logos on the tank.

This appears to have been designed by a dribble who likes cafe racers to much .... cafe racers being modified bikes personalised for weekend use producing one in this form is plain silly   Given lotus make wicked lightweight cars that have their own race and track classes why not take some of the tech and use it in this ( other than the cf and engine tuning) they could quite easily have put adjustable wheel base and rake angle into this giving the user options for applications from drift and drag to high speed cornering capability's. It's a good job I'm not overseeing any designs in a paid fashion cos I would make the designers do lands end to John o groats and back without fender's or fairing then see what they thought !!
