Rack/Top box

I am considering buying an 03 regd Rs. It is maybe an earlier bike as it has the 108bhp engine and twin swing arm. I need to fit a rack and top box, has anyone got any ideas of a good quality but value for money solution?

Rack/Top box

Sprint Manufacturing or Rentec come to mind, not that I have bought a Rack/Top box. Silver engine with Black frame equals a 108bhp, Black engine with Silver frame equals a 118bhp. Ive got the 108, its beefy enough for me.

I have the Triumph rear carrier and it fits very neatly and still looks perfect after five years use. The Triumph box is designed to fit and be removed easily. It looks good, being colour-coded, but the downside is the price. I think it was about 300 quid from memory, so I guess that falls outside the VFM remit. You might find one on ebay though. I saw a Givi set-up fitted once and the rack look like it was designed by I.K. Brunel.

I can report some success. I had the Triumph rack fitted as it is a nice neat job and then fitted a Givi universal adaptor plate with their E52 box. All looks good and all in cost about £310.00 which is quite a saving on gen. Triumph kit.
