I have a mate over here he has a 2002 bird which he has put a Ohlins shock in the rear and red power cartridges in the front . The rear is fantastic he said but the front is too hard for him , perfect for me as I'm heavier. He paid $1400 for the Ohlins , don't know how that compares to your pricing ? Hoo Roo crasher.

Over here its about $800.00. I've never been on a Blackbird with an Ohlins rear fitted. I just wanted a bit of feedback before I bought one. I'm sure it will much better than the Stock rearshock. For the forks Race-Tech springs seem to work ok. RFOX
