From April through to September, every Tuesday from 5pm, Poole Quay is closed off for one massive bike meet. Each meeting averages just over 1000 bikes with everything from Desmosedici RRs to FS1Es. There's also a bike of the night competition for the best-looking/most-outrageous bike. The final Tuesday of September sees all the bike of the night winners gathered together for bike of the year. There's plenty of food available from a multitude of chippys and biker friendly pubs. - a quick mention about snakespix (http://www.poolebikenight.net/). These guys take pictures of everyone entering Poole bike night via the Holes Bay roundabout - all the pictures are then uploaded to their website - awesome!
