Thought I re-port the rest of the review that the moderators had removed...

BMW R1200R 2011 Double overhead cam, shaft drive, 110bhp, approximately 88ftlb of torque, 55mpg, 223kilos, wet, wanton and ready to rock and roll. Absolutely excellent machine. I had a 1050 Tiger before it, and an R1150r before that. The Tiger was good but ultimately flawed due to the poor suspension and inattention to design detailing; and the 1150 was basically built to annexe Europe at a stoke - great bike, but it felt heavy at times until you got it wound up and it had some wiring loom issues. The R1200 however changes all of that, it is lighter, it is significantly more powerful and torquey, has altered steering geometry (even a steering damper!), it has fantastic and secure handling. It is the best motorcycle I have ever owned... ...and without going to niche extremes, it is probably the best all round motorcycle I have ever ridden. I tested all sorts of bikes before I chose this one by the way. It is a lot of cash to spend on two wheeled transport! Let's hope it doesn't have the traditional BMW final drive issues eh?
