Average rating:
Ducati Mike Hailwood Replica. No 40 of the limited edition of 200. First registered in November 1979. I have owned the bike since 1983 and was regularly used up until about 12 years ago. It was then stored in not very good conditions and suffered a lot from rust and corrosion. I decided to give it a "Nut and bolt" restoration which took about a year as money and the progress of suppliers etc determined. Engine is standard apart from a few mods carried out by Steve Wynne of Sports Motorcycles done in the late 80's to put a window in the crankcase to check oil levels. Extensive use of stainless fasteners, stainless brake hoses and silencers. Much of the chrome has been re-plated.
