This is my first go at building a streetfighter. I bought the bike in totally bog standard spec & had problems ridding it due to all my aches & pains so at first I thought I'll put some higher bars on it to make it more comfortable & then I got carried away! lol
I've been suffering with ME/CFS for nearly 5 years & building this bike tested me every step of the way. Its been a real case of do a bit... rest a bit & when I did to much rest for days on end.... This build was a real case of blood.. sweat... & tears! But it was worth it ;)
Its going to be on the streetfighters stand at the end of august at westpoint (exeter) & will also be in there mag soon.
Apart from the powder coating & the anodised forks I did everything myself! I even hand made the chain guard & the brackets for the front chainguard etc.
I used a few different parts to get around some problems that I had such as using heavy duty downhill mountian bike handle bar clamps to make sure the carbon fibre handlebars cleared the tank & the 'The Punisher' heal guards are belt buckels I converted! lol
