I moved from Leicestershire to Australia in 1993. Ironically, I get three times more rain here in Oz (I live an hour and a half north of Sydney) than I ever got in England - but I have continuous water restrictions here!, I used to be a spead freak and ride on the road as fast as I did proddy racing on the track - but age and good sense (or is it cowardice?) have finally caught up with me. These days I travel at fast cruise and don't need to hear scraping footrests to feel as if I have had fun.
