Aprilia RSV1000 Mille (1998-2003)

Why buy a Ducati when you could have an Aprilia RSV1000 Mille? OK, the name may not be as famous but the Mille is a superb superbike with a surprisingly reasonable price tag. Looks are distinctive, reliability is pretty good it%X92s just unfortunate that dealer back up can be patchy.

Should I have one or not???

Anyone got a New RSV 1000R Factory ? Was thinking of buying one but wanted to know how owners felt on the performance of the bike. You see I had riden a RSV Millie on demo the other month but felt it wasn't up there with the best. I think the Millie has around 120 horses but the new RSV 1000R factory has around 150 of the beasts?? Fair enougth the Millie did pull well in all gears but I fancy something more extreme and powerful! The factory RSV 1000R sound like thunder when passing down the road and sounds the ...

Aprilia RSV1000R & Factory (2004-current)

Ultra-exotic, extremely high performance V-twin motorcycle that rocks on the race track but is a handful on the road. The Aprilia RSV1000R is not for the inexperienced. This updated bike appeared in November 2004 and is the base of the RSV1000R range %X96 in previous years the %X91R%X92 was a tricked up model and the %X91Mille%X92 was the entry level machine. Comfort factor 05 factory versus 04 R1 ?!?

I'm considering swapping my 04 R1 for a 05 factory. Have read different accounts on the comfort of the RSV. I'm 6' 4''. Any owners experiences with this would be much appreciated.

Warped Brake Discs

The original discs warped after 3 years (no problem with that), the EBC prolights I replaced them with warped after a year. I do about 6000 miles a year, but it's a v-twin for god's sake so they don't exactly get used that hard. Can anyone recommend a long-lasting disc that fits? Thanks
