Senior citizen advice

Brian Ewing, 14 May 2012 11:47

I've been riding for many moons and currently ride a BMW 1150RT, but old age is catching up with me and I find that the BMW is just too big and heavy for everyday use. I am looking at buying a Honda 750VTS for commuting, breakfast rides with the guys, keeping out of my wife's hair and a bit of fun. What ...

Did I design the new Rocket III Roadster

od-DD, 07 October 2009 21:17

Here’s a small extract from an article I wrote for the OD-Racing website 3 years ago. As you can see I saw Triumph’s new Rocket III Roadster coming, although I called it the Super Rocket III. As I predicted this bike so well, do you think Triumph would let me have a Rocket III Roadster as my design consultancy ‘fee’, ...

New Hesketh V 1200

Oberdan Bezzi, 16 February 2009 17:00

For those which consider the new generation Bentley too "popular" and prefer to drive a Bristol Blenheim. For those who get their clothes made to measure from the taylor. For those which still watch with suspicion the Japanese bikes. To these people (truly little in reality) I dedicate the new HESKETH V 1200, directly from Easton Neston factory. It does not want to "make ...

Thinking outside the box!

Robin Brown, 16 December 2007 20:46

I have a great disliking for chains. Having ridden shaft drive BMW's for 20 years I now have a belt driven model - brilliant. Years ago I had an idea that transmission could be by hydraulic pipe. I think this has now been achieved as a front wheel off roader. By Honda perhaps. Why not persue this for the rear ...

Pining for my B-King

Christopher Ficco, 19 October 2007 04:50

I've got my BKing ordered here in Aurora, Colorado (US) and awaiting delivery. I've got my eye on the Yoshi exhaust but wondering if there's a kit to redress the tail-lights. I'm pining away till we get our taste of the new Suzuki monster naked hits the show-room floor and I can start turning it into my own, custom street-fighter. ...

New rear end for '08 Busa

BUSA04287, 26 September 2007 03:23

I did this on my computer - I think it's an improvement! The bike says 'organic' to me, but the tail is just two pointy - aerodynamic I'm sure, but on the street does it make that much difference? I'm sure a local bodyshop can do the tail mod. Can't Suzuki find better design teams?!
