Video: Nobody mistreats a Street Triple like this guy

Guy Procter, 11 March 2013 11:25

Funny French stuntist Julien Welsch has at last produced a sequel to his classic Extreme Triumph Street Triple Offroad video. He's cool and we like the way he's not too proud to include his screw ups! Filmed in Morocco it took six months to produce, including 11 days shooting and required specially-made 17in 'bucket' tyres. Enjoy!

A Canadian inventor has come up with the ultimate airbag, whose operation has to be seen to be believed. We don't want to spoil the surprise, so please, watch the clip before reading any further. Roland Sands 'Dirty Desmo': des-irable or des-ecration?

Guy Procter, 22 November 2011 09:38

Roland Sands recently took the brave/insane decision to accept a commission to streetfighter a Desmsedici RR. Or dirt tracker-it anyway, as is their wont where he lives. There's no doubting the size of the cahunas required to take the angle-grider to a MotoGP rep, and equally to ride the 200bhp mutant. But was it the right thing to do? Is ...

World's top 5 worst exhausts

Guy Procter, 07 October 2011 11:22

There's little doubt we are leaving the age of the aftermarket end-can. With legislation tightening, Daily Mail readers not going deaf in sufficient numbers and many simply becoming annoyed by the sound of their own engine spinning at an apparent 46,000rpm let alone anyone else's, the first rung of the bike modification ladder is rotting away. A decade ago such ...

Piaggio Yourban 300LT: an English proofreader short of genius

Guy Procter, 27 May 2011 17:16

Piaggio's new £5699 Yourban 300 LT is so clever in so many ways it would be a shame if its stupid name got in the way of anyone warming to it. It's a lighter-weight, less troll-like version of the MP3 LT, designed to appeal more to chic inner-city types. Like its non-Yourban MP3 LT sibling it's got the two front ...

Man behind most aggressive and unsafe bike ad ever hails industry ban on aggressive, unsafe bike ads

Guy Procter, 21 July 2010 10:32

The motorcycle industry in Europe has imposed a voluntary ban on adverts portaying ‘Aggressive riding styles, and any depiction of unsafe behaviour on public roads’. ACEM, the manufacturers’ representative body, made the move in response to the European Commission’s Road Safety Action Programme, which ‘puts focus on vulnerable road users’.   Stefan Pierer, ACEM President and boss of KTM, says: "Motorcycle ...
