X-Games champ Jeremy Lusk dies after crash

Reigning X-Games champion Jeremy Lusk has died following a serious accident during an event in Costa Rica on Saturday. The 24 year-old freestyle motocross rider crashed his Yamaha YZ250 heavily after failing to fully rotate a flip. He was rushed into emergency surgery to drain blood that had collected around his brain, but died late last night.

Motorcycle speedway rider Lewis Bridger has been fined £1500 and ordered to pay £500 compensation, after admitting to an assault.
